This award recognizes a member of our association with 1-3 years experience as a financial aid professional. The recipient must be from a postsecondary institution, a CAFAA member, demonstrate outstanding ability in the field of financial aid and has made a contribution to the financial aid profession. Nominations are solicited from the Association membership and selection is made by the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee.

Distinguished Staff Member of the Year -This award recognizes a support staff member. The recipient does not have to be a CAFAA member, must be considered a non-professional staff member, and must have at least one year experience in the office and must have made significant contributions to their office. Nominations are solicited from the Association membership and selection is made by the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee.
